摘要: A microwave heating system is disclosed for enhancing physical and chemical processes. The system includes a microwave source, an antenna having a cable, a receiver for receiving microwaves generated by the source, with the receiver being connected to a first end of the cable, and a transmitter for transmitting microwaves generated by the source, and with the transmitter being connected to an opposite end of the cable. The system also includes a reaction vessel with the transmitter inside the reaction vessel; and microwave shield surrounding the transmitter for preventing microwaves emitted from the transmitter from extending substantially beyond the reaction vessel.
