摘要： An arcing horn device having high-performance follow current breaking characteristics so as to be provided with a follow current breaking performance at, e.g., a short-circuiting accident, and an arcing horn device capable of retaining a good follow current breaking performance repeatedly. The arcing horn device is provided with an insulating cylinder 21 that encloses the tip end side of an arcing horn 11/12. A through hole 21a extending from the tip end of the arcing horn 11/12 up to the tip end surface of an insulating cylinder 21 is formed in the insulating cylinder 21 so as to eject an arcing jet from a through hole 21a at lightning caused by a lightning stroke. An insulating cylinder 21 is formed of polyamide resin. A cap 30 for covering the tip end side of an insulating cylinder 21 is provided so as to prevent the entry of rain water into a through hole 21a.
