摘要： A method of easily and securely manufacturing, by a press working only, a second hand for analog electronic timepiece having a weight part (13a) on a short hand part (13), comprising the steps of punching out a pair of parallel rectangular windows in a thin sheet base material having the same thickness as that of the short hand part (13) including the weight part (13a) of a second hand (10) so as to form a hand forming part between the pair of windows, pressing a part of the hand forming part forming a long hand part and a mounting part of the hand so as to form a thin wall part, and punching out the base material, in the final shape of the second hand, so that the long hand part (11) and mounting part (12) are formed with the thin wall part of the hand forming part and the short hand part (13) is formed with the original thickness part.

摘要： An analog electronic timepiece capable of decelerating the rotation of a rotor (1a) of a step motor (1) through a train wheels before it is transmitted to an hour hand (17) and a minute hand (15), wherein the gravity center of a second shaft rotating body comprising a center wheel gear (9), a center wheel pinion (10), and a second shaft (11) to which the minute hand (15) is installed is displaced by an angle range of less than +/-90 DEG , from the axis of the second shaft (11), in the direction opposite to the direction in which a time indicating part (15a) of the minute hand (15) is extended so as to reduce a moment on the second shaft (11) caused by the minute hand (15) and the second shaft rotating body, whereby a breakage of the hand due to disturbance can be prevented even if the value of the holding energy of the step motor (1) is reduced.

摘要： A weight (20) is added, to lessen moment as the whole rotary body, at least to a part of the rotary body including a hand (8) and train wheels (11, 2, 12, 3) for the rotation of the hand, in order to make a disturbance energy which a step motor (1) receives by an external impact, less than a small holding energy which the step motor (1) used in an analog electronic clock retains, or a thin part, a through hole, or a notch is formed at least in a part of said rotary body, or a part of the rotary members is formed by the combination of members with different specific gravities from each other. Transmission of the disturbance energy occurring at the hand part to the step motor (1) is prevented by providing a reverse transmission preventing gear at a part of said train wheels.
