    摘要: A method of filtering a packet data stream as transmitted in a digital audiovisual transmission system characterised in that transport packet data is filtered at a first stage by a digital filter (42) according to the characteristics of the transport packet header, selected filtered data being then passed directly to a memory element (44) within the receiver/decoder. In a second aspect, the method comprises filtering a packet data stream characterised in that transport packet data is filtered at a first stage by a first digital filter (42) according to the characteristics of the transport packet header, selected filtered data from the payload corresponding to a continuous flux of data then being passed to a second digital filter (45) for a second stage of filtering.

    摘要: The invention concerns a method for use in a television digital decoder for selecting and executing an executable software image, the method comprising starting a self-executable bootstrapping software to load an image. Said method is characterised in that it consists in constituting a reference table referring to one among (n-m) non erasure-protected images stored in a memory zone, then in accordance with a routine performed at each reset of the decoder, v1) verifying whether the reference table is present and integral, p) running through the table in a sequence so as to reach the stored images to which each reference corresponds, v2) verifying whether the image corresponding to the first reference reached is integral, 1) if the image verified at step c) is integral launching execution of said image, e) if the newly verified image is not integral, performing once more steps v2), and possibly 1) for the next reference, until an integral image is found, finally if the table is not integral or if after running through the (n-m) images stored in non-erasure-protected memory zone it is found that none of said images is integral, performing step e) for m images stored in non erasure-protected zones, said m images being run through in a sequence corresponding to their priority order.
