    摘要: The invention concerns a method for inspecting the surface of a cylindrical body, and more particularly a roll cylinder, which consists in observing at least a surface zone using an inspection device having an optical axis oriented towards said surface zone so as to determine the state of the surface. Therefor, it consists in capturing at least an image of the zone supplied by the inspection device, analysing at least one of the captured images, comparing the captured image, respectively one of the captured images, with the analysis of a reference image, detecting variations between the analysis of the captured image, respectively of the captured images, and the analysis of the reference image, and adjusting at least the orientation of the optical axis so as to reduce, and preferably eliminate, the observed variations. The device may comprise means for mechanical and/or optical adjustment of the orientation of the optical axis.

    摘要: The invention concerns an apparatus for inspecting a surface, in particular the surface of a mill roll, comprising a housing wherein are arranged means for transmitting and receiving a light beam, and an optical coupling device arranged on the outer surface of a front wall of the housing. The optical coupling device comprises: (a) a component (5), called fluid dispenser, (b) a hollow cylindrical nozzle (11), and (c) a mobile tubular component (16), successively traversed by the light beam. The mobile tubular component (18) is arranged partly inside the cylindrical nozzle (11), so as to be able to slide inside said cylindrical nozzle, and partly exits therefrom in the extension thereof, towards the surface to be inspected (2). Different cross-sections (shoulders 14, 19) are provided in the cylindrical nozzle (11) and in the mobile tubular component (16), in particular for limiting said sliding movement. The mobile tubular component (16) is positioned in the cylindrical nozzle by the sole effect of the coupling fluid pressure on its end surfaces. The device can further comprise means (21, 22) for preventing the rotation of the tubular component (16) about its longitudinal axis.

    摘要: The invention concerns a method for measuring gas transfer time inside an enclosed space, such as a blast furnace, which consists in injecting a gas, called tracer gas, in a point A or A' of the enclosed space, for example a nozzle, and in tapping in a point B of the same enclosed space the gas present therein, the point A or A' being different from point B; in detecting the presence of the tracer gas in the gas tapped in B, and deducing therefrom the time required by the tracer gas to travel from point A or A' to point B on the basis of the data supplied by the detection system. The method also consists in carrying out at least one in-situ measurement of the response time, that is a calibration, of the tapping system in B. The calibration consists in injecting at the tapping point, concerning the equipment to be calibrated, an amount of a predetermined gas and in measuring the time separating said injection and the detection of said gas in the tapping and detecting equipment. Various methods are described two of which use tapping pipes with coaxial tubes and one with a single tube pipe. In case a rare gas, such as helium, is used as tracer gas, the blow-down gas can be nitrogen and the calibrating gas can be a helium-nitrogen mixture.
