摘要： The present invention relates to a fuel cell that produces electricity from hydrogen, which it uses as fuel, and ambient air. The cell can power low-power portable applications, and comprises a cathode compartment (13) with a columnar plate (9), which passively facilitates air access and water discharge; an anode compartment (12) with a hydrophilic membrane (5) and an external container that accelerate the transport and water elimination processes in the cell, improving the performance thereof; and an electrolyte membrane (11) which is located between the anode compartment (12) and the cathode compartment (13).
