The invention relates to a cell initial search method for user equipment (UE) in a CDMA digital cellular mobile communication system. The method includes: a UE after selecting a working frequency point, obtains downlink synchronization with the base station; and corrects carrier deviation between the UE and the base station. The downlink synchronization includes: deciding a range of downlink training sequence timeslot (DwPTS) based on training sequence power characteristic window value method; solving correlation of received data and training sequence in the range to obtain accurate receiving position of a UE. The correction of carrier deviation between a UE and the base station includes: estimating carrier deviation between a UE and the base station by software, recovering carrier frequency difference by using decision and feedback method to adjust hardware and carrier deviation correction method based on joint detection to correct carrier deviation.

The invention relates to a method for signal processing used in terminal device of code division multiple access mobile communication system, the method is a combining of time diversity and joint detection in order to increase diversity gain of receiver. The method includes steps: make a multitude sampling for received signal in time domain; estimate impulse response of air channel; obtain matrices; constitute a system matrix; perform joint detection algorithm, attain estimation of original transmitting data. When the method is used at mobile terminal, the problem of imbalance between uplink and downlink performance so that frequency reuse can be achieved, and relatively simple joint detection can be used. The method could also be applied in base station.

The signal processing method is a combination of time diversity and joint detection in order to raise diversity gain of receiver. The method comprises: sample a received signal on time domain, estimate spatial channel impulse response value, obtain matrixes, constitute a system matrix, perform joint detection algorithm and obtain an estimated value of original sending data. When the method is used in a mobile user equipment, the uplink and downlink performance unmatched problem can be solved, using same frequency multiplexing can be reached and the joint detection algorithm is a simpler one. The method also can be used in a base station.
