    Abstract: An air compressor (10) is received in an accommodation box (8) and contains a body (1), a cylinder (2), a motor (4), and a transmission mechanism (6). The body (10) includes a first positioning orifice (11) and a second positioning orifice (12). The cylinder (2) is connected on the body (1) and communicates with an air storage holder (3). The motor (4) is fixed on the body (1), a small gear (61) is received in the first positioning orifice (11), and a connection seat (41) is accommodated in the first orifice (11). The transmission mechanism (6) actuates a piston (5) to move in the cylinder (2) reciprocately so as to produce compressed airs. The motor (4) includes at least one locking extension (46) for engaging the motor (4) with the body (1). A first end of a respective one locking extension (46) extends from the motor (4), and a second end of the respective one locking extension (46) is engaged on the body (1), hence the motor (4) is fixed on the body (1) securely without using any screws.

    Abstract: An air compressor is disclosed, which can keep the pressure of air supply less than a safety pressure without using a safety valve, so that a tire can be inflated without exceeding a safety pressure thereof. One feature of the air compressor is that: when the piston body, which conducts reciprocating motion in the cylinder, reaches top dead center, a space is existed between the head of the piston body and the top wall of the cylinder. Another feature of the air compressor is that: an adjusting bolt is used to adjust the volume of the auxiliary air chamber to change the maximum permissible output pressure of the air compressor to suit an object. As such, the air compressor does not require a mechanical safety valve to release air for limiting the pressure of air supply. The air compressor can protect a tire from over-inflation and save the manufacturing cost.

    Abstract: An air compressor is disclosed, which provides compressed air having a pressure less than a safety pressure without using a safety valve, so that a tire can be inflated without exceeding a safety pressure thereof. One feature of the air compressor is that a tube is formed integrally with the air storage container and on the cylinder, wherein the tube defines therein an auxiliary air chamber communicating with the inner space of the cylinder but not communicating with the air storage container. When the piston body reaches top dead center, the head of the piston body almost contacts the top wall of the cylinder, whereby part of the compressed air may flow into the auxiliary air chamber, so that the piston body can conduct downward strokes more smoothly, and the compressed air can be prevented from exceeding a safety pressure set for an object to be inflated.
