摘要： A lock (1) is disclosed which is particularly suitable for use on a shopping trolley, for releasably interconnecting with the lock of another similar trolley or with an anchoring point. The lock may, by suitable attachment of appropriate key members (2), be adapted either as a trolley lock permitting "daisy chaining", or as one preventing such "daisy chaining". In the daisy chaining configuration, a free trolley has a loose key which is intended to be used only when the trolley is held at a designated trolley collection point to release a coin key or slide of a newly returned trolley. In the non-daisy chaining configuration a free trolley has no loose key. The described lock has two key holes (6,7) for receiving key members and two separate locking means (4,3) for releasably engaging and securing the key members in the respective key holes. The insertion of one key member releases the other, which can then be withdrawn, such withdrawal causing securing of the inserted key.

摘要： A wheeled trolley (50) comprising a base chassis (52) which includes a load support platform (56) and a set of ground-contacting wheel elements (68,70) which may be swivel castors, and an upright support structure (54) fixed to and projecting upwardly from a rear portion of the base chassis, and surmounted by a push-handle assembly (94). An upwardly open supplementary luggage receptacle (90) is mounted on the rear side of the upright structure to permit the receptacle to be made substantially larger than hitherto without obstructing the main luggage-carrying capacity of the platform. The rear wheel elements (68) are offset rearwardly relative to the back end of the platform to improve stability. The platform is forwardly inclined for ease of stacking and generally lowered for stability and convenience of loading by a rearwardly inclined interconnecting portion (82) of the chassis between the rear end of the platform and the base end of the upright support structure. The handle assembly has a centre cross-bar (110) spaced rearwardly of the support structure and two side portions (112) projecting upwardly and forwardly from opposite ends of the cross-bar portion to provide for a comfortable double pistol-grip holding action by the user.
