    摘要： Aspects and techniques of the present disclosure relate to an IP 55 rated enclosure that does not use a rubber O-ring or comparable elastomeric sealing member disposed between pieces of the enclosure to provide sealing. Another aspect of the present disclosure relates to an IP 55 compliant sealing interface that includes mating sealing profiles made of the identical materials. A further aspect of the present disclosure relates to an enclosure having jet stream redirecting structures that prevent spray from a water jet from being sprayed directly into an ingress path defined by a sealing interface. A further aspect of the present disclosure relates to a sealing interface provided by an interference-fit between two plastic profiles which create pressure on the interface keeping it closed while concurrently including angled surfaces so that greater tolerances are allowed.

In one aspect, the patch panel can include a plurality of interconnectable connection parts (100) for holding telecommunications connectors (12), such as adapters. Each connection part (100) may be provided with features that allow the connection parts (100) to be interlocked with each other to form the extendable patch panel (10). In one aspect, a first connection feature (122) can be located on a connection part first side (102) and a second connection feature (124) can be located on a connection part second side (104). The first connection feature (122) can be configured to interlock with the second connection feature (124) of an adjacent connection part (100). The connection part (100) may also be provided with an adapter (150) that allows the connection parts (100) to be connected in a staggered formation to result in a staggered patch panel (10).

In another aspect, the lock clip (80) disables operation of the lock assembly (70) when the cover (40) is in the open position such that the lock assembly (70) is prevented from being operated out of the open position. In yet another aspect, the key (60) is prevented from being removed from the cover (40) when the key (60) operates the lock assembly (70) out of the locked position.

    摘要： A cable distribution system is provided wherein a feeder cable with one or more feeder fibers is received by a distribution terminal, device, or box. The feeder fibers are spliced to a feeder fan out device. Customers can directly connect to the feeder fan out device by patching between the feeder fan out device and a distribution fan out device that is spliced to a distribution cable. This connection creates a point-to-point connection. Alternatively, a splitter input can be connected to the feeder fan out device wherein the splitter splits the signal as desired into a plurality of outputs. The outputs of the splitters can be in the form of connectors or adapters. The connectors or adapters are then connected to the distribution fan out device, and customers can receive a split signal through the distribution cable that is spliced with the distribution fan out device.
