    摘要: Aerosol dispensing apparatus comprising a housing in which a container can be located, an outlet leading from the housing, a receiving block having an inlet for receiving an outlet member of the container and a passage through which contents of the container may pass on their way to the outlet when the container is actuated. The housing contains a carriage in which the container is firmly gripped. The carriage is able to slide reciprocally within the housing as the container moves between rest and actuated positions and comprises a projection. The housing further comprises an abutment and is formed with an upper part which houses at least the container, in use, and a lower part comprising, at least, the outlet. The upper and lower parts are conjoined so that the lower part may rotate relative to the upper part between locked and unlocked positions, wherein in the locked position the abutment is aligned with the projection so as to prevent movement of the carriage into the actuated position of the container and in the unlocked position the abutment is out of alignment with the projection so as to allow movement of the carriage into the actuated position.

    摘要: A dispensing apparatus comprising a dispensing container (8) assembled with a metering valve (1). The dispensing container (8) defines a storage volume for a product and the dispensing container (8) comprises a neck (15) terminating in an open top for receiving the metering valve (1). The open top extends radially outwardly relative to the neck to define a support surface (17).
    The metering valve (1) comprises a valve assembly and a ferrule (6), wherein the valve assembly comprises:
    a metering chamber body (2) surrounding a metering chamber volume;
    an inner seal (3), for sealing an inlet of the metering chamber volume;
    an outer seal (4), for sealing an outlet of the metering chamber volume;
    a valve stem (5); and
    a biasing means (7) for biasing the valve stem (5).
    The valve stem (5) is movable between a dispensing position, in which the outlet of the metering chamber volume is open and the inlet of the metering chamber volume is closed, and a rest position, in which the outlet of the metering chamber volume is closed and the inlet of the metering chamber volume is open, wherein the inner seal (3) is supported by the support surface (17) of the open top of the dispensing container (8) when the metering valve (1) is assembled with the dispensing container (8).

    摘要: The present invention provides dispensing apparatus for delivering metered doses of product from a pressurised dispensing container comprising:
    a dose counting mechanism comprising an indexing mechanism for advancing an indication means on actuation of the received pressurised dispensing container,
    wherein on actuation of the received pressurised dispensing container in a normal mode of operation an indexing member is able to interface with the indexing mechanism to apply a force to the indexing mechanism sufficient to incrementally advance the indication means;
    wherein the eventuality that the indexing mechanism or the indication means is jammed so as to prevent advancement, the indexing member and the indexing mechanism are enabled to move relative to one another in such a way to allow the indexing member to bypass the indexing mechanism to allow actuation of the received pressurised dispensing container.
