摘要:
The invention relates to a brake-actuation unit for the actuation of a motor vehicle brake system of the type “brake-by-wire,” which consists of a brake servo which can be actuated according to the driver's wishes by means of a brake pedal set on a shaft as well as by means of an electronic control unit, wherein methods of decoupling of a power-transferring connection between the brake pedal and the brake servo in the “brake-by-wire” mode of operation are planned, and includes methods for registering a driver's wish to decelerate, as well as for a pedal travel simulator that works with the brake pedal, which is made by means of a simulator spring, which is arranged action-oriented between a power-transferring part connected to the brake pedal and a simulator housing, which by means of two bearings is lying on the shaft. According to the invention, it is planned that the simulator housing (22) has a cylindrical area (26) to accommodate the two bearings (27, 28). By means of this method, the distortions which appear in the actuation of the pedal travel simulator can be significantly reduced.
摘要:
The idea exists of applying a counter force, which opposes the actuated force, onto the gas pedal (7) of a vehicle in the event the vehicle, with regard to a vehicle parameter, sufficiently deviates from the set value. The parameter can be the speed or the measured distance from vehicles driving ahead. The invention provides a series of embodiments that easily and reliably fulfills the defined conditions for applying the counter force to the pedal.

The invention relates to a brake actuating unit for actuating a motor vehicle brake system of the brake by wire type, comprised of: a) a brake booster, which can be actuated according to the driver's wishes both by means of a brake pedal as well as by means of an electronic control unit, whereby means are provided for decoupling a force-transferring connection between the brake pedal and the brake booster in the brake by wire operating mode; b) a master cylinder connected downstream from the brake booster; c) means for detecting the driver's wish to slow down, and; d) a pedal travel simulator, which interacts with the brake pedal and with which, in the brake by wire operating mode, a restoring force acting upon the brake pedal can be simulated independent of an actuation of the brake booster, and which, in the brake by wire operating mode, can be switched on when decoupling the force-transferring connection between the brake pedal and the brake booster and can be switched off when the brake by wire operating mode is not active. According to the invention, the switching on and off of the pedal travel simulator (2) is effected by electromagnetic (22, 25), electrohydraulic (40, 47) or pneumatically actuatable means (96 98).

The invention relates to a brake by-wire actuator for actuating the braking system of a motor vehicle, comprising at least one simulator (2) which can be impinged upon by a brake pedal (1), a signal of the actuation sensor (3) being supplied to an electronic control unit (4) which controls a pressure source according to the signal of the actuation sensor (3), one output of the pressure source being connected to a distributor device (10) for the braking force, and actuates individual wheel brakes (16) of the vehicle. Means are also provided to enable actuation of the brakes by muscular power within a recoil plane. In order to provide an improved recoil plane in a brake-by-wire actuator of the above-mentioned variety, free travel (a) is foreseen between a first actuation component (47), such as a brake pedal (1) or a component (36;21) connected thereto, and an actuation component (37) located downstream in the force flow such that the first actuation component (47) can be mechanically decoupled from force reactions occurring in the vehicle braking system in a by-wire mode.

The invention relates to a method and to a device for controlling a motor vehicle comprising an electrically controlled braking system provided with a driving dynamic control. According to the invention, in order to reliably monitor a piston (3) of the main cylinder, even during a driver dynamic control step, and to recognise the driver's wishes over the entire actuation path, the sensor element (36) detects an alteration in the magnetic field when a piston of the main cylinder (1) is displaced and emits a digital signal and an analog signal. The two signals are guided further to an electronic control and regulation unit and are evaluated therein (ESP-ECU).

The invention relates to a device for monitoring the position and displacement of a brake pedal. The aim of the invention is to enable the monitoring of a pressure-rod plunger during a vehicle-dynamics control operation. To achieve this, the magnet (35; 150) is positioned between two plungers (2, 3; 105, 106) and can be displaced in relation to at least one of the plungers (2, 3; 105, 106). This facilitates a relative displacement of the magnet (35;150) in relation to a stationary plunger (3; 106), in addition to a proportional displacement of the magnet (35; 150) in relation to an actuated plunger (2; 105), when the plunger (3; 106) cannot be displaced in relation to the housing (6; 103) as a result of closed block valves, in a braking operation during a vehicle-dynamics control operation.
