摘要： The present invention relates to a process and an apparatus for producing foam using a continuous foam block foaming method, and in particular to a method and an apparatus for online monitoring of foam quality during a foam production process. In the method for online monitoring of foam quality in the foam production process according to the present invention, raw materials for foam production are injected onto a transporting slab of a conveyor via a mixing nozzle disposed at one end of the conveyor, the method comprising: continuously obtaining profile data for a cross section of the foam at a predetermined location to generate a topography map for a surface of the foam, the predetermined location being one along an advancing path of the transporting slab; and detecting foam defects based on the topography map for the surface of the foam.
