摘要： The invention relates to poly(arylene vinylenes), containing at least 20 % repeat units of formula (I) wherein the symbols and indices have the following meanings: aryl is an aryl group with 4 to 14 C-atoms; R' is a substituent which is in the marked phenylene position 5 or 6 and is CN, F, Cl, N(R R ) or a straight-chained, branched or cyclic alkyl-, alkoxy- or thioalkoxy group with 1 to 20 C-atoms wherein one or several H atoms can be replaced by F; R'' is the same or different and is CN, F, Cl or a straight-chained, branched or cyclic alkyl- or alkoxy group with 1 to 20 C-atoms wherein one or several non-adjacent CH2 groups can be replaced by -O-, -S-, -CO-, -COO-, -O-CO-, -NR -, -(NR R ) -A or -CONR - and one or several H atoms can be replaced by F, or an aryl group with 4 to 14 C-atoms which can be substituted by one or several non-aromatic radicals R'; R , R , R , R are the same or different, H is an aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon radical with 1 to 20 C-atoms, A is an anion with a single charge or an equivalent thereof; and n is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. The inventive poly(arylene vinylenes) are suitable for use as electroluminescent materials.
