    摘要: A fusion ink-type heat transfer sheet for heat-sensitive printing by means of thermal heads, comprises a base film, a substantially smooth antisticking layer formed on the thermal head-contacting surface of said base film, and a hot melt ink layer formed on the opposite surface of said base film. The antisticking layer prevents sticking of the heat transfer sheet to the thermal heads and contains an antistatic agent selected from: cationic antistatic agents having cationic groups selected from a quaternary ammonium salt, a pyridinium salt and primary, secondary or tertiary amino groups; anionic antistatic agents having anionic groups selected from sulfonate and sulfate; amphoteric antistatic agents of amino acid type or aminosulfate type; nonionic antistatic agents of amino-alcohol type glycerin type, or polyethylene glycol type; polymeric antistatic agents obtained by polymerizing the antistatic agents described above; polymerizable antistatic agents of a radiation polymerizable monomer and oligomer having atertiary amino or quaternary ammonium group; and carbon black.

    摘要: A thermal transfer sheet (1) having a back coating layer (3) excellent in heat-resistance, a substrate layer (2) and a recording material layer (4) is provided by using a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer as a resin constituting the back coating layer. A thermal transfer material having an excellent heat-resistance and having a back coating layer having considerable strength is provided by incorporating at least two species of heat-resistant particles having different particle sizes in the back coating layer, since the larger species of particle imparts excellent heat-resistance to the back coating layer, the smaller species of particle enhances the total amount of the fillers, and the larger and smaller species of the particles function so as to provide a synergistic effect. A thermal transfer sheet having a back coating layer which is excellent in storability is provided by incorporation an alkylphosphate multi-valent metal salt into the back coating layer, since the thus prepared back coating layer has an excellent heat-resistance, does not contaminate another member or thermal head without wearing the thermal head, and has an excellent slip property and an excellent dye barrier property.
