    摘要: Process for producing 4-aminomethylbicyclo (2,2,2)octane-1-carboxylic acid and intermediate therefor 4-aminomethylbicyclo(2,2,2)octane-1-carboxylic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is prepared by reacting a compound of the formula:
    (wherein R is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group) with ethylene, under a pressure of 60 to 300 kg/cm 2 at a temperature of 100°-250°C. to produce a 4-cyanobicyclo(2,2,2,)oct-2-en-1-carboxylic acid of the formula:
    (wherein R is the same as defined above), catalytically reducing the bicyclo compound and hydrolyzing the reduction product.
