A tetrazoyl oxime derivative which is reduced in damage to useful plants and superior in drug activity against plant diseases to conventional heterocycle-substituted oxime derivatives. The tetrazoyl oxime derivative is represented by the general formula (1): (1) wherein X is hydrogen, halogeno, alkyl, alkoxy, cyano, methanesulfonyl, nitro, trifluoromethyl, or aryl; A is 1-alkyltetrazoyl-5-yl or 5-alkyltetrazoyl-1-yl; and Het is substituted pyridyl or substituted thiazoyl. Also provided is a plant disease control agent containing the derivative as an active ingredient.

Novel oxime derivatives represented by general formulae (1) and (2) and having sufficient pesticidal effects without giving any chemical injury to plants, and agricultural chemicals, in particular, plant pesticides containing these oxime derivatives as the active ingredient. These agricultural chemicals and plant pesticides are highly efficacious against downy mildew, late blight or Phytophthora rot, etc. in various plants, as evidenced by the test results.
