摘要: The disclosure relates to a fluid handling cassette for use with a cycler of a peritoneal dialysis system, wherein the cassette comprises a generally planar body having at least one pump chamber formed as a depression in a first side of the body and a plurality of flowpaths for fluid that include a first common channel and a second common channel; a flexible membrane attached to the first side of the body over the at least one pump chamber and a plurality of valves, a pump chamber portion of the membrane over the at least one pump chamber being arranged to be movable for movement of fluid in the pump chamber and portions of the membrane positioned over respective valves being arranged to be movable to open and close the respective valve; a patient line port arranged for connection to a patient line, the patient line port being in fluid communication with a patient line valve, which communicates with the first common channel; a plurality of solution line spikes, each of the solution line spikes being in fluid communication with a respective spike valve, each spike valve communicating with the first common channel; a drain line port arranged for connection to a drain line, the drain line port being in fluid communication with a drain line valve, which communicates with the second common channel; a heater bag line port arranged for connection to a heater bag line, the heater bag line port being in fluid communication with a heater bag valve, which communicates with the second common channel; wherein the first common channel leads to a first pump valve arranged to control flow for a first opening into the at least one pump chamber; wherein the second common channel leads to a second pump valve arranged to control for a second opening into the at least one pump chamber; wherein the heater bag line port, the patient line port and drain line port are located at a first end of the body, and the plurality of solution line spikes are located at a second end of the body.

摘要: A dialysate delivery set comprising: a fluid handling cassette for use in a peritoneal dialysis system, the cassette comprising: a generally planar body having a first and a second pump chamber formed as a depression in a first side of the body and having a first and a second opening fluidly connected to first and second channels, respectively; a patient line port arranged for connection to a patient line for delivering dialysate to the peritoneal cavity of a patient, the patient line port being in fluid communication with the first and second pump chambers via the second channel; a drain line port arranged for connection to a drain line for draining dialysate from the peritoneal cavity of a patient, the drain line port being in fluid communication with the first and second chambers via the first channel; a heater bag line port arranged for connection to a heater bag line, the heater bag line port in fluid communication with the first and second pump chambers via the first channel; a plurality of solution line spikes being in fluid communication with the first and second pump chambers via the first channel; and a flexible membrane attached to the first side of the body over the first and second pump chambers, a pump chamber portion of the membrane over the first and second pump chambers being arranged to be movable for movement of fluid in the pump chambers; the patient line fluidly connected to the patient line port; the drain line fluidly connected to the drain line port; and a heater bag and the heater bag line fluidly connected to the heater bag line port.

摘要: An apparatus for determining the volume of an aerosolized fluid is provided. The apparatus comprising: a chamber comprising a gas region (103a) and a fluid region (103b); an atomizer (107) in fluid communication with the fluid region (103b) of the chamber for aerosolizing fluid delivered from the fluid region; a volume determination system; and at least one processor (104) configured to receive a signal from the volume determination system and further configured to determine a volume of the gas region (103a) of the chamber based on the received signal, wherein the at least one processor determines the volume of the gas region before the fluid is aerosolized and the volume of the gas region after the fluid is aerosolized whereby the volume of aerosolized fluid is determined.
