摘要: In a case where the amount of drain water generated is small, it is preferable to suppress power consumption of a drain pump by shortening operation time of the drain pump. An indoor unit (12) is used in an air conditioner (10) capable of executing a cooling operation by circulating a refrigerant. The indoor unit (12) includes an indoor heat exchanger (50), a drain pan (57), a drain pump (59), and an indoor control unit (92). The indoor heat exchanger (50) exchanges heat between the refrigerant and indoor air. The drain pan (57) receives water generated in the indoor heat exchanger (50). The drain pump (59) sucks up the water from the drain pan (57). At a time of executing the cooling operation, the indoor control unit (92) operates the drain pump (59) when an evaporation temperature of the refrigerant in the indoor heat exchanger (50) is equal to or lower than a dew point temperature of the indoor air. At the time of executing the cooling operation, the indoor control unit (92) controls the drain pump (59) so as to have a period in which operation of the drain pump (59) is not performed when the evaporation temperature of the refrigerant is higher than the dew point temperature.

摘要: Provided is a refrigeration cycle apparatus capable of accurately determining refrigerant leakage. An air conditioner (100) includes a refrigerant circuit (10) through which a refrigerant circulates, sensors (31, 32, 33, 44) that measure an amount representing a state of the refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit, and a controller (51). The controller executes a normal operation according to an air conditioning load and a first detection operation of detecting refrigerant leakage. The controller adjusts a degree of subcooling at an outlet of the condenser to a first value during the normal operation. The controller detects a value related to a discharge temperature of the compressor (21) or a value related to a degree of superheating at an outlet of the evaporator, on the basis of a measurement result of the sensor. The controller adjusts the degree of subcooling to a second value larger than the first value when executing the first detection operation, and determines that the refrigerant is leaking from the refrigerant circuit when the value related to the discharge temperature of the compressor or the value related to the degree of superheating at the outlet of the evaporator is equal to or larger than a threshold value.
