摘要： A thermosetting powder coating composition comprising a fluoropolymer, a polyester polymer, and a hardener, wherein the fluoropolymer is a fluoropolymer (A) comprising fluoroolefin units and vinyl ester units and having crosslinkable reactive groups or the polyester polymer is a polyester polymer (I) comprising isophthalic acid units and/or 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid units as essential structural units and having crosslinkable reactive groups. This composition can attain an improved balance between weatherability and coating film appearance, e.g., gloss and smoothness, although weatherability has been inconsistent with coating film appearance in thermosetting powder coating compositions.

摘要： In the thermosetting powder coating composition prepared by a combination use of a fluorine-containing polymer and a polyester polymer and containing a curing agent, the fluorine-containing polymer (A) comprising a fluoroolefin unit and a vinyl ester unit and having a crosslinkable reactive group is used as the fluorine-containing polymer or the polyester polymer (I) containing isophthalic acid and/or 1,4-cyclohexane dicarboxylic acid as essential components and having a crosslinkable reactive group is used as the polyester polymer. By the use of this composition, weather resistance and an appearance of a coating film, for example, gloss and smoothness which are conflicting properties in the thermosetting powder coating composition can be enhanced and well balanced.

摘要： A thermosetting fluorine-containing resin powder coating composition containing a fluorine-containing resin powder is stored at a temperature lower than a glass transition temperature of the fluorine-containing resin by 20°C or more or at a temperature of 20°C or lower. Preferably during the storage, an environmental relative humidity is 60 % or less and the powder coating composition is stored in a sealed bag having less moisture permeability. According to that storing method, the powder coating composition can be stored for a long period of time without causing blocking and lowering physical properties thereof. For example, even in case where the powder coating composition stored for five weeks or more is coated, characteristics such as smoothness of a coating film is not lowered.
