摘要： A method of manufacturing prebiotic oligossacharrides is disclosed which comprises the steps of: coagulating milk to create whey; separating the fat from the whey; removing minerals from the whey; retaining within the whey a substantial proportion of the protein originally present subsequent to the removal of minerals; and creating an enzyme reaction within the whey to convert lactose in the whey to prebiotic oligosaccharides.
