Feed is dispensed (72) into the feed manger of the milking stall (1) located in the far end (14b) of the row of milking stalls in connection with the first one of the plurality of milk producing animals entering the row of milking stalls to entice the plurality of milk producing animals to enter the row of milking stalls.
