    摘要: A band sawing machine for the axial cutting of metal tubes or bars comprising a support structure (1) provided with longitudinally aligned supports (6) for a piece (P) to be machined, and a gantry frame (9) mounted transversely thereon and holding a pair of coplanar motorized flywheels (14) with horizontal axes on which a continuous band cutting blade (15) is wound. The gantry frame is mounted slidingly on the support structure and motor means (30) are provided to transmit thereto a forward motion in a longitudinal direction, during which axial cutting of the piece is performed, and a motion of return to the starting position at the end of the operation.
