摘要： Fuel level sensor (28) for sensing the level of liquid fuel in a fuel tank, the sensor comprising: a base frame (30) to be fixedly mounted relative to the tank; a pivoting arm (32) with pivotally connected to the base frame (30) and carrying a float (34); a variable resistor assembly (36) configured for translating the position of the float (34) into an electric signal; characterized in that the pivoting arm (32) and the base frame (30) are pivotally connected by a snap-fit connection (44); and in that the variable resistor assembly (36) comprises a resistor circuit (38) affixed to the pivoting arm (32) as well as contact fingers (40) fixedly mounted to the base frame (30) and configured to be in contact with the resistor circuit (38).
