    摘要: A stapling device (1) has a holddown element (9), a staple forming member (7), and a staple driving means (6), which are guided linearly and are movable perpendicular to the upper side of a sheet stack (10) to be stapled.
    A first pressure spring (13) with a lower spring force (C1) is associated with the holddown element (9). A second pressure spring (14) whose spring force (C2) is greater than that of the first pressure spring (13), is associated with the staple forming member (7). A third pressure spring (15) is associated with the staple driving means (6), its spring force (C3) being greater than that of the second pressure spring (14). The pressure springs (13, 14, 15) are arranged with identical working directions perpendicular to the upper side of the sheet stack (10).
    The first pressure spring (13) is arranged in preloaded fashion between the holddown element (9) and the staple forming member (7, 7a). The second pressure spring (14) is arranged in preloaded fashion between the staple forming member (7, 7a) and the staple driving means (6, 6a). The third pressure spring (15) is arranged in preloaded fashion between the staple driving means (6) and a drive head (5) on which engages an eccentric drive (4, 17) which moves the stapling device (1) in the direction of the arrow (B) onto sheet stack (10), and thereby controls a force-controlled drive mechanism of the stapling device (1) in an operationally correct sequence.
