摘要： A household appliance (1) comprises a a front wall (7.1, 11.1) having an outer surface which a user is facing when operating the household appliance (1) and an inner surface which is directed towards the interior (5) of the household appliance (1). The front wall (7.1, 11.1) is at least partially made of light-transmissive material, preferably of a glass sheet. According to the invention, the front wall (7.1, 11.1) comprises at least one first portion or first area (7.1f, 11.1b) of said light-transmissive material that is non-tranparaent or that at most enables a blurred, an unclear or bleary view through the light-transmissive material.
Further disclosed is a method for producing a front wall (7.1) of a household appliance (1) or a front wall (11.1) of a component (11) for a household appliance (1), which component front wall (11) being adapted to define a household appliance wall.-

摘要： The present invention relates to a locking mechanism (20) for a door (12) of a domestic appliance (10), in particular for an oven door (12) of a cooking oven (10). The locking mechanism (20) comprises a spring element (24) attachable or attached at the domestic appliance (10). The locking mechanism (20) comprises a lever element (26) attached at a distal end of said spring element (24). The lever element (26) is adapted for engaging with a section of an edge of the door (12), when said door (12) is in a closed state. The spring element (24) is bendable, so that the lever element (26) can be disengaged from the section of the edge of the door (12).
