    摘要: Disclosed is a process for granulating potassium salts, which comprises:

    a) preparing a bentonite gel by mixing (A) bentonite (1) with water (2) in a water:bentonite ratio of from 5:1 to 15:1, and adding a potassium salt (4) to said gel at 60 to 80°C;
    b) feeding the slurry obtained in step (a) into a rotary drum granulator, in which the slurry (8) is sprayed onto a bed of preformed and recycled hot granules (D), adjusting the moisture content of the granules leaving the granulator (12) in the range of from 4 to 8% and the recycling ratio at from 12:1 to 18:1;
    c) drying by means of flue gases (E) (at 250-270°C) the granules of step (b) until the moisture content thereof is from 2.0 to 3.5% by weight, the granule temperature at the outlet of the drying zone (15) ranging from 60 to 85°C.
