摘要： The present invention relates to a disposable article to prevent the misuse of a transdermal dosage form (Fig. 1 (a)). The article is comprised of an outer layer (1) having an inner layer-facing side and an opposite side; an inner layer (3) having an outer layer-facing side and an opposite side, the inner layer (3) joined to the outer layer (1) to form one or more closed material reservoir (2) between the outer layer-facing side of the inner layer (2) and the inner layer-facing side of the outer layer (1); and adhesive (4) covering a first portion of the opposite side of the inner layer (3), wherein the adhesive (4) is a heat activated adhesive that changes color and/or is activated when the article is subjected to elevated temperatures, thereby sealing the transdermal dosage form within the article.

摘要： A blending apparatus (1) comprises a. blender (10) including a container (19) having a wall, the wall including a window (12). The container (19) rotates about an axis of rotation (15). A wireless spectrometer (21) is mounted to the container (19) and operates through the window (12), in a direction that does not intersect the axis of rotation (15), for obtaining a set of spectroscopic data regarding the product during an operation of the blender (10). In addition, a method for assaying a blended product in a blender (10) includes mounting a wireless spectrometer (21) to the container (19), rotating the container (19) about its axis of rotation (15) so as to blend the product; operating the wireless spectrometer (21) through a window (19) in the container, in a direction that does not intersect the axis of rotation (15), to obtain spectroscopic data regarding the product during the blending, and determining a homogeneity of the product from the spectroscopic data.
