摘要： The invention relates to a housing (1) for a waste gas treatment component (2) comprising a cladding tube (3) having a first thickness (4) and a first length (5), in addition to at least one covering (6) having a second thickness (7) and a second length (8). The at least one covering (6) is at least partially in contact with the outside of the cladding tube (3) and is connected thereto. The at least one covering (6) has a second length (8) which is shorter than the first length (5) of the cladding tube (3). The invention also relates to corresponding waste gas treatment components and waste gas systems for motor vehicles.
