    摘要: The device comprises a primary winding (S1) in which the spark energy is stored to be transferred rhythmically to a secondary winding (S2) with respective voltage step-up transformers (T1 to T4) acting between the secondary winding (S2) and the spark plugs (SP1 to SP4). An amperometric resistor (R1) is arranged in series with the diode (D1) through which the current flows when the energy is transferred to the plugs. For each spark, there is a corresponding voltage peak across the terminals of the resistor (R1), whereby a failure to detect the presence of the peak (which is usually converted into a square-wave signal) identifies the absence of a spark.
