摘要： The bandsaw (1) consists of a drive pulley (5) and a deflecting pulley (6) at a distance from it and a flat rotating saw band (2) running over them. Between the pulleys (5, 6) the saw band (2) forms two sections, the inactive (4) and the cutting strand (3). In the region of the cutting strand (3), when the saw is running, the saw band (2) is twisted through 90 DEG with the teeth pointing outwards from the running plane. The inactive strand (4) and the pulleys (5, 6) are enclosed in a housing (7). A gooseneck discharge channel (9) fitted behind the cutting section (3) in the direction of travel of the saw band (2) at a distance behind the start of the curve (8) of the saw band (2) produced by the drive pulley (5) tangentially to the curve (8) forces scraps entering the housing (7) with the saw band (2), through their natural dynamics out of said housing (7). The discharge channel (9) is designed so that it is impossible for the operator to contact the moving machine components.
