An image processing apparatus (101) updates an image to be displayed on a screen of an information processing apparatus (102) in response to receipt of operation input from the information processing apparatus (102). The image processing apparatus (101) periodically obtains image information of an image to be displayed on the screen of the information processing apparatus (102). At the time of obtaining image information of a preceding. image among two consecutive images, the image processing apparatus (101) does not determine whether to transmit image information of the preceding image. At the time of obtaining a subsequent image among the two consecutive images, the image processing apparatus (101) determines whether to transmit image information of the preceding image, based on image information of the preceding image and on image information of the subsequent image. Abstract:
A pointer information processing device (10) includes a position acquisition unit (11), a light-emitting point detection unit (12), a radiated point detection unit (13), an identification unit (14), an association unit (15), and a recording unit (16). The position acquisition unit (11) acquires a position of a conference participant in a first image captured toward the conference participant. The light-emitting point detection unit (12) detects a light-emitting point of a laser pointer. The radiated point detection unit (13) detects a radiated point of the laser pointer. The identification unit (14) identifies the conference participant that is using the laser pointer having the light-emitting point detected by the light-emitting point detection unit (12). The association unit (15) associates the light-emitting point detected by the light-emitting point detection unit (12) with the radiated point detected by the radiated point detection unit (13) upon a condition that the light-emitting point and the radiated point are each singular. The recording unit (16) records respective position information of the light-emitting point and the radiated point associated with each other by the association unit (15) and information about the conference participant identified by the identification unit (14) in a storage unit in an associated manner.
