    摘要: Emergency vehicle patient transport systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, an emergency vehicle patient transport system includes: an emergency vehicle and a cot securing member. The vehicle comprises a loading passage providing access to an interior compartment and defining a loading direction in which to load the cot in the interior compartment. The cot securing member is coupled to the floor of the interior compartment and comprises a cot engagement surface configured to releasably engage a locking portion of the cot. The cost securing member further comprises a lift configured to raise the cot when engaged with the cot engagement surface along a cot raising direction. The cot engagement surface is configured to engage with the cot to permit an extendable linkage of the cot to expand as the securing member lifts the cot, while wheels attached to a bottom of the linkage maintain contact with the floor.

And, the one or more set positions are selected from a group consisting of an airway care position, an extended airway care position, a procedural care position, a responder position, a patient care position, and a patient load position. In one embodiment, the chair is coupled to a ceiling track (214). In an alternative embodiment, the chair is coupled a floor track (216).

    摘要: Emergency vehicle patient transport systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, an emergency vehicle patient transport system includes: an emergency vehicle, a track coupled to a floor or ceiling of an interior compartment of the vehicle, a chair slidingly engaged with the track, and a multi-position seat coupled to the wall. The emergency vehicle comprises a loading passage which provides access to the interior compartment, and which defines a loading direction in which to load the cot into the interior compartment. The track delineates a travel path in the floor or ceiling to which it is coupled. The chair is selectively lockable both along the travel path and in one or more set positions selected from a group consisting of an airway care position, an extended airway care position, a procedural car position, a responder position, a patient care position, a lower care position and a patient load position. The multi-position seat comprises a transition track and a seat portion slidingly engaged with the transition track. The seat portion is moveable about the transition track between a flat configuration, a bench configuration and a jump seat configuration. In the bench configuration, the seat portion defines a seat, and in the jump seat configuration the seat portion is orientated as a seat back which faces in the loading direction.
