The invention refers to a method from moving backwards a combination (10, 11) and to an assembly for assisting the backward movement of a combination (10, 11) into an area (20) which might be surrounded by obstacles (21). The combination (10, 11) comprises a propelled vehicle (10) and an implement (11). The implement (11) can pivot with respect to the vehicle (10). The vehicle (10) moves the combination (10, 11) backwards. A pivoting angle sensor (6) on board of the combination (10, 11) measures the pivoting angle of the implement with respect to the vehicle.
