摘要： A computerized system (100) for determining the authenticity of a diamond (1) comprises a computerized certification system 2 and a computerized authentication system 3. The computerized certification system 2 is configured to certify a diamond (1) by generating (S11) diamond reference characteristics, using one or more physical characteristics of the diamond (1) measured during a certification phase, and writing a visual code in or on the diamond (1), using a beam writing system. The computerized authentication system (3) is configured to authenticate the diamond (1) by generating (S21) diamond verification measurements, using one or more physical characteristics of the diamond (1), measured during an authentication phase, capturing the visual code of the diamond (1), and comparing the diamond verification measurements and the diamond reference characteristics, using the visual code captured from the diamond (1).
