    摘要: A film applying apparatus (10) includes a presser roll (34) reciprocally movable toward and away from the leading end portion of a tacking member (22) to force an adhesive tape (30) against a cover film (12C) of the laminated film (12) while the laminated film (12) is held by suction on a surface at the leading end portion of the tacking member (22). The surface of the tacking member (22) includes a first and a second beveled surface (22B, 22C). When the presser roll (34) is advanced by a presser roll actuating device (36), it roll on from the first beveled surface (22B) to a leading end of the second beveled surface (22C) during which time the adhesive tape (30) is firmly adhered to the cover film (12C). Then the presser roll (34) is retracted and, at the same time, the adhesive tape (30) is pulled by an adhesive-tape pullback device (38) in a direction away from the tacking member (22) whereupon the cover film (12C) adhered to the adhesive tape (30) is separated from the laminated film (12). After the tacking is completed, a film tensioning device (1) is driven to pull the laminated film (12) backward. In this instance, since a slackening device (2) is activated to slack the adhesive tape (30) and the cover film (12C) adhered thereto, the laminated film (12) can be readily pulled backward.
