摘要: A self-steering railway truck, especially a powered locomotive type, provides limited freedom for axle steering motion in the truck frame (12), with a separate linkage of parallel rods (42) and a steering beam (40) for transmitting traction and braking forces to the truck frame. The linkages of two end axles (24) are interconnected for equal and opposite motion in a manner effective to maintain stability, and to leave room for maintaining traction motors and brake equipment, and also to separate the effects resulting from yaw and lateral axle motions.
