    摘要： A photostimulable phosphor composition is a europium activated barium-strontium-magnesium fluorobromide containing an effective amount of both strontium and magnesium. A process for producing the phosphor comprises forming an admixture of the appropriate ratios of raw material sources heating the admixture in a reducing atmosphere to at least partially convert the raw materials into a fluorobromide salt, cooling in a nitrogen atmosphere to ambient temperature, reheating under similar conditions as the original heating, cooling in a nitrogen atmosphere to ambient temperature followed by washing with ethyl alcohol.
