    摘要: A method and device for controlling switching of proximity-event detection elements are provided. The method includes the following. An instruction of switching a screen of a terminal device from a current first state to a second state is obtained. A first element corresponding to the first state is switched to a second element corresponding to the second state by invoking a pre-established switching thread. The first element is configured to detect a screen proximity event in the first state and the second element is configured to detect a screen proximity event in the second state. The screen of the terminal device is switched from the first state to the second state when a switching success notification is obtained from the switching thread. With aid of the method, different elements are configured to collect the proximity data when the screen is in different states, which improves the accuracy of the proximity data collected and avoids the blocking of switching of the screen states caused by the delay of the switching of the elements for detecting the screen proximity events during switching of the screen states, thereby improving the smoothness of the switching of the screen states and improving the user experience.
