摘要: A gas treatment assembly for controlling the CO2/CH4ratio of a gas stream (generally from a biogas unit) to make it more suitable as input for a combined heat and power (CHP) system uses a treatment module (10) in which the gas and a treatment liquid pass in contraflow, separated by a membrane (18). Generally the membrane has the form of a bundle of tubes, with one flow path passing through the interiors. The membrane is selected to allow passage of the gas (or a part thereof) but to resist passage of the liquid. It may be microporous and hydrophobic.
