摘要： With a recording head (200) having a plurality of nozzle holes arranged in a row in a first direction disposed so that the nozzle holes face a recording element (P), the recording element (P) is moved for main scanning in a second direction (B) with respect to the recording head (200). Ink particles jetted from the nozzle holes are charged to a charging level corresponding to the deflection distance of the ink particles, and the charged ink particles are deflected in a direction perpendicular to the main scanning line. In addition, a plurality of ink particles jetted from the plurality of nozzle holes are allowed to strike the same pixel position or a portion in the vicinity thereof to enable multiple-striking to the same pixel position or a portion in the vicinity thereof, thereby easing back-up for failed nozzles and uneven recording.
