The channel estimation processing method includes: receiving cell-specific reference signals CRSs that are sent by a base station by using at least two antenna ports, where bandwidth occupied by the CRSs is divided into at least two frequency band groups, one frequency band group corresponds to one antenna port, and each frequency band group includes at least one frequency band; and performing independent channel estimation in each of the at least two frequency band groups according to the CRSs. According to the embodiments of the present invention, accuracy of channel estimation can be improved by performing independent channel estimation in each frequency band group.

The present invention provides a method and a communications device for transmitting information. The method includes: determining a quantity N of padding bits according to a quantity M of effective information bits included in a code block and a quantity L of effective input ports of a polar code encoder, where M and L are positive integers, and N is a difference between L and M; determining input bits that are to be input into the polar code encoder, where the input bits include the M effective information bits and the N padding bits; inputting, according to a mapping relationship between the L effective input ports and the input bits, the input bits into the polar code encoder through the L effective input ports to perform coding, so as to obtain coded bits; and transmitting the coded bits. In this way, when the quantity of the effective information bits included in the code block is less than the quantity of the effective input ports of the polar code encoder, coding can be successfully performed in a bit-padding manner by using polar code, thereby ensuring successful information transmission.

The present invention discloses a method for implementing a SIM card function on a terminal, a terminal and a UICC. The method includes: downloading information for implementing the SIM card function; writing the information for implementing the SIM card function into a reserved storage space of the terminal; and after the SIM card is activated, authenticating an access identity of a terminal user by using the information for implementing the SIM card function. In the present invention, the information for implementing the SIM card function is downloaded to the terminal, so as to implement the SIM card function by means of software. Therefore, when a user roams between different regions, the user does not need to frequently replace a SIM card chip, but only needs to implement the SIM card function by means of software according to the embodiments of the present invention, which enhances user convenience and improves user experience.

The present invention provides a grant-free transmission method, user equipment, an access network device, and a core network device. The method includes: obtaining, by user equipment, a user equipment identifier and a key that are allocated by a core network device and that are used for grant-free transmission; encrypting and encapsulating, by the user equipment, data by using the key and the user equipment identifier; and transmitting, by the user equipment, the encrypted and encapsulated data to an access network device on a first contention transmission unit CTU resource in a grant-free transmission mode. According to technical solutions in the present invention, simple, effective, and secure communication can be implemented in a grant-free transmission scenario.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a D2D communication discovery method, apparatus, and system. D2D communication discovery can be automatically implemented at an application layer, and D2D communication discovery may be implemented by an application server and user equipment, or D2D communication discovery may be implemented by two user equipments, without deploying another device or an additional interface, which reduces network signaling overheads and reduces power consumption. In addition, location information of the user equipment is acquired at the application layer, for example, the location information may be acquired in one or a combination of multiple manners such as GPS positioning, cell positioning, or cloud positioning. Multiple positioning manners can be supported, which improves positioning precision and can optimize network performance.
