摘要: A communication method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: A terminal device obtains first information and second information, where the first information is used to determine a length of a first-type symbol component, the second information is used to determine at least one of a length of a second-type symbol component and a length of a third-type symbol component, and the length of the first-type symbol component is greater than the length of the third-type symbol component. The terminal device determines a plurality of signal blocks based on the first information and the second information, and processes each of the plurality of signal blocks to obtain an OFDM symbol corresponding to the signal block. The terminal device sends the OFDM symbol. According to the foregoing method, an FFT receive window corresponding to a first OFDM symbol can be delayed backwards compared with a conventional FFT receive window, to reduce inter-symbol interference on the first OFDM symbol.

In addition, each precoding port corresponds to one precoding data stream, so that a feature of a low peak to average power ratio PAPR of the precoding codebook can be ensured.

摘要: This application provides a signal transmission method and apparatus, to propose a diversity transmission solution. Locations of a plurality of groups of modulation symbols corresponding to each group of antenna ports in the extended symbols do not overlap locations of at least one group of modulation symbols corresponding to any other group of antenna ports in the at least one group of extended symbols. Therefore, diversity transmission is implemented.
