The use of hydrogel formers in aqueous agents with liposomal structures makes it possibles to obtain agents which can be used for the treatment of keratinous fibres, in particular human hair, and which have particularly good care properties and good stability in storage. Agents of this kind preferably contain liposomes produced from phospholipids, sphingolipids and/or ceramides.

The invention relates to preparations for treating keratin fibres, especially human hair. The preparations contain a combination of active agents consisting of a synthetic polymer (A) with a thickening effect chosen from homopolymers of general formula (I), wherein R1 = -H or -CH¿3?, R?2, R3 and R4¿, independently of each other, are chosen from C¿1-4?-alkyl-, -alkenyl- or -hydroxyalkyl groups, m = 1, 2, 3 or 4, n is a natural number and X?-¿ is a physiologically compatible organic or inorganic anion, and copolymers consisting essentially of the monomer units listed in formula (I) and non-ionogenic monomer units; and at least one cationic polymer (B), on the condition that the preparation must contain a tenside when polymer (A) is a copolymer. The inventive preparations are characterised by their extraordinarily good care properties.
