- a switch time interval defining the time interval before a new input can be generated after generating a first function input by activating the switch; and
- a continuity time interval defining the time interval before a second function input is generated while keeping the switch activated.-

摘要: A shifter simulator system for a simulator environment, simulator provided with such shifter simulator system and a method for operating such shifter simulator system. The shifter simulator system (2) comprises:
- a frame (8) with a gear stick hinge (12);
- a gear stick (4) that is hingedly connected to the frame via the gear stick hinge;
- a moveable frame part (14) configured for moving relative to the frame and provided with a first and second contact surface s (16 a-b);
- a magnetic contact (18) and;
- a tilting element (24) configured for tilting around a tilting axis (26) via a tilting connection in response to a movement of the gear stick and providing a first lever (56), and wherein the tilting element is provided with a first and second contact element (42a-b) configured for engaging the respective first and second contact surfaces of the moveable frame part forming a second lever (58), and by moving the moveable frame part defining a shifter movement with the magnetic contact.
