摘要： A portable leadwire signalling terminal (11) provided as an interface between an EKG base unit (41) and a patient includes a signal transceiver (33) which transmits leadwire information to the EKG apparatus, as well as pushbutton (35) information. The EKG unit (41) sends back information suitable for a video display (27) at the terminal (11). This information is indicative of noise on each leadwire, as well as whether a leadwire is disconnected.
