摘要： A bed (10) comprises a frame (12) and a deck (24) coupled to the frame. The deck includes a back section (26), a seat section (28), a thigh section (30), and a foot section (32). An actuator is coupled to the back section to move the back section from a horizontal position to an elevated position relative to the frame, the thigh section (30) being lengthened in response to the back section moving from the horizontal to the elevated position, and the thigh section being shortened in response to the back section moving from the elevated position to the horizontal position.
