摘要： Provided is a work machine capable of reducing the frequency of remote service interruptions and retries that occur because of changes in the communication network performance or depending on the operating state of the work machine and its service provision. A controller 11 of a work machine 10 includes: a service request generation unit 110 that generates and transfers information for requesting a remote service; a service execution condition management unit 111 that confirms and manages the condition for executing the remote service; and an operating mode management unit 113 that manages the operating mode and the operation status of the work machine. The service request generation unit 110 generates service request information containing function types of a plurality of remote services, the operating mode of the vehicle, and the communication performance of the communication network 14, and transfers it to the data center 12. For each function type included in the service request information, the service execution condition management unit 111 outputs service execution information containing the execution possibility, the condition for operating mode, and the condition for communication performance.

摘要： A work machine includes a body, a work implement attached to the body, and a controller that executes a transmission process of transmitting data to an external apparatus installed outside the body. The controller measures a speed of communication with the external apparatus, places a functional restriction on the transmission process when the speed of communication is lower than a predetermined required speed, reinforces the functional restriction on the transmission process as the speed of communication lowers, and reinforces the functional restriction on the transmission process when a state of the work machine is an operation state, as compared to a case where the state of the work machine is not the operation state.
