摘要： A system for controlling a face velocity of a fume hood includes one or more sensors that are configured to detect one or more users in front of the fume hood. A controller is configured to determine a desired ventilation airflow rate for the fume hood based at least in part on the one or more users detected by the one or more sensors, wherein the desired ventilation airflow rate corresponds to one of three more available ventilation airflow rates. The controller is configured to provide a control signal to a ventilation device of the fume hood, wherein the control signal corresponds to the desired face velocity.

摘要： A fume hood monitor (26) includes a fume hood monitor controller (42) that is configured to display one or more of the fume hood parameters (40) on a display (32) of the fume hood monitor (26) and to communicate with the mobile device (28). The mobile device (28) includes a mobile device controller (60) that is configured to pair the mobile device (28) with the fume hood monitor (26). Once paired, the mobile device controller (60) is configured to receive two or more of the fume hood parameters (40) from the fume hood monitor controller (60), display two or more of the received fume hood parameters on a display (52) of a user interface (50) of the mobile device (28), and receive a user interaction via the user input device (54) of the mobile device. The user interaction may allow a user to manipulate information that is displayed on the display (52) of the mobile device (28) regarding the fume hood (12).
