A method and system of fault location for communication apparatus. The method includes: getting internal test information of multiple FRU(Field Replaceable Unit)s in a communication apparatus; according to the test information and a relationship matrix which is used to describe the communication apparatus, searching all circuit units which are related to the test information; according to the circuit unit and the relationship matrix, farther searching the test information related to the circuits unit which is in the circuit units set; setting up a location sub-matrix according to the searched circuit unit set and test information set; judging and logging the faulty circuit unit in the location sub-matrix; according to FRU analysis rule, judging the faulty circuit unit and logging the corresponding FRU. The invention relates the test and alarm information to the circuit units in FRU, so as to automatically locate the really faulty FRU. Overcoming the slowness of fault location in the present art, the invention can automatically locate the FRU, solve the time problem in fault location and locate the faulty FRU directly.

The method includes: An electronic device plays, by using a first application, audio corresponding to a first media file, and displays a video recording interface of a second application; in response to an operation on a background music setting option, the electronic device sets background music as audio corresponding to a second audio file; in response to a first operation on a virtual button, the electronic device starts video recording, and processes the second audio file to obtain audio data of the second audio file; and in response to a second operation on the virtual button, the electronic device ends video recording, and generates a video file, where the video file includes the audio data of the second audio file and image data of an image captured by a camera, but does not include audio data of the first media file. According to this technical solution, a user can add corresponding background music in a video recording process as required. This not only facilitates use by the user, but also helps avoid a copyright dispute.

In a zoom photographing scenario, a sound propagation latency caused when a sound is transmitted from a sound source to the electronic device and an algorithm processing latency of the electronic device affect accuracy of an audio timestamp corresponding to audio, and cause audio and image asynchronization. In this application, a first audio timestamp of first audio is corrected based on a first latency corresponding to the first audio, to correct a correspondence between the first audio timestamp, the first audio, and a first image. In this way, a stored correspondence between the first image and the first audio is consistent with a correspondence between a picture corresponding to the first image and a sound corresponding to the first audio, thereby implementing audio and image synchronization.

The method includes obtaining internal test information of each FRU (Field Replaceable Units) in a communication equipment; searching all unit circuits associated with the test information according to the test information and a dependency matrix that describes the communication equipment; further searching the test information related to the unit circuit in the unit circuits set according to the unit circuits and the dependency matrix; setting up a location sub-matrix according to the searched unit circuit set and test information set; judging and logging the unit circuit having an abnormal state in the location sub-matrix; judging the abnormal unit circuit and logging the corresponding FRU according to an FRU analysis rule. The present invention associates the test or alarm information with the unit circuits in the FRU, so as to automatically locate the real faulty FRU.
